Great experience. Called in for a 2011 Jetta with specific options. Ron was able to get the right price and get all the paperwork, trade in, and the Jetta from a dealership in North Carolina to my garage in 18 hours. That's phenomenal, best service received at over 15 dealerships by Ron and nearly everyone else at Steve White. The price for the Jetta was excellent, and when we requested floormats to buy, Ron threw in floor mats that he had personally(not the dealership, his personal item) but wasn't using for free. Ron also changed the licence plate for us and held some items we accidently left in the trade in for us to come back and pickup. The value we got for the trade in was very, very fair, meeting/exceeding all estimates. The prompt work and desire to go above and beyond by Ron Johnson has actually significantly changed my previously held opinions of car dealerships in general, Ron get's straight 5's and needs to be recognized for excellence.

A big gripe I have is the shady practices of Christian Vicino. He's the only reason this review is not straight 5's. Christian was friendly and enthusiastic when he began the process of getting us financing. After settling on a loan period/APR rate, Christian began the "usual" dirty car dealer tricks. He attempted to sell us the highest possible plan for an extended warranty. When I questioned him on the difference between the plan levels, his answer was that only the platinum plan (the most expensive by far) was worth having. I pointed to an official Volkswagen poster in his office, and he said it was wrong (interesting, the official 2011 VW warranty program poster is wrong.) I then asked what was different in the platinum plan that made it worthwhile, he just said there were too many to name, he didn't want to waste time. This was minor, my real issue with Mr. Vicino is his outright lying. He claimed if we bought the warranty and didn't use it, there would only be a $50 fine, we'd get the rest of the money back. I called VW HQ to confirm, and they said this is not true, because they have to make money through the warranty program somehow! Needless to say, we didn't go with the fools gold Christan was peddeling. Christian Vicino is the opposite of Mr. Johnson, and I hope he learns some valuable lessons from him.

The dealership itself is a modern, clean building. Front Office staff was friendly. Drinks/popcorn was standard dealer fare. Good response time to online contact/phone calls. Overall, other than the finance manager, this is an ideal dealership.

I have bought 3 cars now at Steve White VW from Will Gillespie and just recently purchased a NEW car. Will has gone above and beyond what I had expected of him on all three purchases. The entire team they have working there is a pleasure to work with. Will never buy from another dealership. Very pleased with my overall experiance.

I moved to the area 2 years ago and have gone to Steve White for all my regularly scheduled maintenance as well as a few repairs. I have always been treated with courtesy and friendliness by everyone there even though I did not purchase my vehicle from them. I usually wait for my vehicle but I have also used the courtesy transportation which has proved very convenient.

Ron is great - he went above and beyond by bringing the car to my work place so that I could test drive before I bought. And the car is my favorite that I've ever had. He kept my wish list in a database and called me as soon as my dream car became available. I highly recommend!

Recently I purchased two automobiles from Steve White VW. I live in Huntersville, N.C. and shopped around in the Charlotte area for a New Beetle and Steve White had the best price and on top of it all, they delivered the Beetle to my home in Huntersville which is two hours away from Greenville. I trade my Jeep Grand Cherokee for the Beetle and found that I needed another SUV. Once again I shopped around for a SUV and meanwhile stayed in touch with Ron Johnson at Steve White. Ron suggested I take a look at a Touareg that he had on his lot and the rest is history. I traded my Jaguar for the Touareg and could not be happier. These two cars were purchased within 90 days of each other so I would say I am sold on Steve White VW. A name goes a long way in today's world and I purchased a new 1979 Mercedes 450 SL from Steve White in 1979 when he had a Mercedes dealership in Hickory, N.C. So my experience with Steve White is proof that when you find someone you trust and enjoy doing business with, you stick with them. The next automobile purchase I make or recommend to a friend will be to go with Steve White.

I liked everything about the dealership especially the saleman. The dealership was clean everyone was professional and the finance dept. was excellent. No complaints at all and would suggest anyone looking for a new VW that they go to Steve White and see Ron Johnson.

I have bought a lot of cars over the years and this one took the less time to work out a deal than most. Sale group provided a very positive experience. This is my first VW, I looked around a lot at Toyota, Nissan, Dodge and even Ford. Everyone was way out of site on their prices. Look at Steve Whites and saw some reasonable prices. Went and checked it out and was treated very well and turned into a purchase. Love my Jetta, great price in today's time, rides great, handles good. Have not heard anything negative about Jetta's yet. Use to work for BMW and have been to Germany, I know their workmanship. Glad I own some of it now.

Ron was very helpful with listening to my needs and wants with in a car. He helped me choose the perfect one and the rest of the staff was very courteous as well. Overall had a great experience and got a great car for a great price. If anyone is looking for a new or used VW or Audi, then you should give Steve White a look!
