The 2010 VW Touareg is a midsize SUV that holds 5 passengers. It comes in two trim levels, the VR6 FSI and V6 TDI (diesel engine). Engine/Powertrain
All models of the 2010 Volkswagen Touareg contain all-wheel drive, a 6-speed automatic transmission, and a low-range gear for off-road excursions. The Touareg VR6 FSI contains a narrow-angle 3.6-liter gasoline V6 engine with 280 hp and 266 pound-feet of torque, and the Touareg V6 TDI includes a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 engine powering 221 hp and a whopping 407 lb-ft of torque. The Touareg can tow up to 7,700 pounds.
