About Hendersonville, NCA city in Henderson County, NC, Hendersonville, NC had a population of about 13,000 as of the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Henderson County and is named after 19th-century North Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice Leonard Henderson. Hendersonville is commonly known as "The City of Four Seasons", and most recently, the mayor declared it the "Friendliest City for Retirees in America". The city is home to many restaurants, antique stores and boutiques that operate inside buildings from the mid-1980s. A number of historic neighborhoods exist outside the Main Street corridor including the 5th Avenue neighborhood and the Druid Hills neighborhood north of downtown. The main piece of architectural beauty is the Historic Henderson County Courthouse. It was built in 1905 and renovated in 2008. The city plays host to the annual North Carolina Apple Festival, which includes an Apple Parade that attracts up to 50,000 people. Additionally, some of the museums and historical sites within the city include: the Mineral and Lapidary Museum, Hands On! Children's museum, the Henderson County Heritage Museum, Historic Johnson Farm, Western North Carolina Air Museum and much more. |

Traveling to Steve White Volkswagen from Hendersonville, NCSteve White Volkswagen is conveniently located just off the Motor Mile at 100 Duvall Drive, Greenville, SC 29607, about an hour south of Hendersonville, NC. To visit us starting from downtown Hendersonville, take I-26 E for about four miles. From there, take exit 54 for US-25 S toward US-176/N Carolina 225/Greenville. Continue straight for about 20 miles and then continue onto SC-414 W. After about four and a half miles, continue onto N Poinsett Hwy and then take a slight left toward US-276 S/S Main St. From US-276/Poinsett Hwy, turn left onto W Stone Ave. In about a mile and a half, continue onto Laurens Rd. and turn right to stay on it.
